Mottram Hall (Championship Course)

Nestled within 270 acres of Cheshire parkland, Mottram Hall offers a championship golf experience designed by the renowned Dave Thomas, also known for the Brabazon course at The Belfry. Opened in 1991, the 18-hole, par 72 course presents two distinct nines. The front nine is laid out across gently rolling meadowland, providing scoring opportunities. In contrast, the back nine winds through mature woodland, demanding greater precision. The course measures over 7,000 yards from the back tees and features tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and undulating greens. Mottram Hall has hosted prestigious events, including the European Senior's PGA Championship in 2013, showcasing its championship pedigree. While not historically an Open Qualifying location, it has been a venue for other significant professional and amateur events, such as the PGA EuroPro Tour and the Legends Tour qualifying series.
