Situated in the picturesque Blackdown Hills of Somerset, England, Taunton and Pickeridge Golf Club traces its origins back to 1892. The club was founded through the efforts of Major Frank Newton, with the initial nine holes laid out by the renowned architect Herbert Fowler. The course was later remodelled by Fred Hawtree. Today, this private members club offers visitors the opportunity to play its 18-hole course. Set in a parkland style, the layout features undulating fairways and strategically placed bunkers, demanding thoughtful shot-making. The club also hosts a Junior Open which has previously served as a qualifier for the Justin Rose Telegraph Junior Golf Championship.
