Brean Golf Club

Brean Golf Club, situated on the Somerset coast in England, offers a distinctive golfing experience. Established in 1973, the club is part of the Brean Leisure Park and has seen significant changes over its history, including an updated course layout opened in 2016. The course itself is an 18-hole, par 69 (from the back tees), measuring around 5600-5800 yards. While not exceptionally long, its character is defined by its flat, parkland setting on former farmland, interspersed with numerous water hazards and ponds that demand strategic thinking and precise ball striking. Located close to the Bristol Channel, the course is also exposed to coastal breezes, adding another layer of challenge. The well-drained, lush meadowland fairways ensure playability even after rain. Brean Golf Club has been a venue for Open Qualifying in the past.
