Stapleford Park Golf Club (The Championship Course)
Parkland Course in Melton Mowbray, England
Designed by Donald Steel and opened in 2000, the Championship Course at Stapleford Park was an 18-hole, par-73 parkland layout set within the historic Capability Brown-designed estate in England. The course offered a challenging test, with the meandering River Eye providing strategic interest on several holes. It gained recognition by hosting several European Senior Tour events, including the ISPS Handa Senior Masters in 2010 and 2011. Sadly, the golf course ceased operations in October 2020.
