Charnwood Forest Golf Club

Charnwood Forest Golf Club, situated in Leicestershire, England, is a historic heathland course with roots tracing back to 1890. While the original layout was set out by the local vicar, the Reverend Robert Colquhoun Faithfull, the design was later influenced by James Braid. The course is notable for its setting within a Site of Special Scientific Interest, incorporating natural hazards like bracken, gorse, and granite outcrops, including the distinctive Hanging Stone Rocks. It's a nine-hole course played from 18 tees, offering a par of 69 for men and 71 for women over 18 holes. Accuracy is often favoured over length on this challenging yet scenic layout. The club boasts a clubhouse with changing rooms and a restaurant.
