Beedles Lake Golf Centre (Beedles Lake)
Parkland Course in East Goscote, England
Nestled in the Leicestershire countryside, Beedles Lake Golf Centre offers a parkland test shaped from former gravel pits. Opened in 1993, the course was designed by local architect David Tucker, working in partnership with Jelson Ltd. A notable characteristic is the use of ash in the greens' construction, which is credited with allowing for play on main greens throughout the year. The River Wreake meanders through parts of the course, and the clubhouse provides views of the adjacent lake, adding to the setting. While not a venue for Open Championship Qualifying, the centre actively hosts its own 'Opens' and local events.
