Sherdley Park Golf Club, established in 1973 as a 9-hole course and later expanded to 18, is a mature parkland course located in St Helens, England. Originally designed by John Jarman with the aim of challenging experienced golfers while remaining accessible to beginners, the course has undergone improvements over the years, including reconstructed greens and drainage enhancements. The undulating par-71 course requires strategic play to navigate its tree-lined fairways and Alister MacKenzie greens. While not a widely known championship venue or Open Qualifying location, it offers a good test of golf at a reasonable price.
