Inland Links Course in Seaham, England
Nestled in the rolling countryside of County Durham with panoramic sea views, Sharpley Golf offers an enjoyable round on a course that was once arable farmland. Work began on converting the land in 2002, and the course officially opened in 2009. Designed with input from three architects, latterly the owner was involved in the final shaping, the course features subtle contours and tiered greens, laid out in a more traditional style. The course boasts numerous water features and has an extensive drainage network. The greens are built to USGA standards and are noted for being excellent and in great condition, though some reviews suggest they may not be quite on par with the very best members' clubs in the area. The par-71 course presents a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all abilities.
