Royal Norwich Golf Club (The Championship Course)

Royal Norwich Golf Club, founded in 1893, embarked on a new era when it relocated to its current home at Weston Park in September 2019. The new 18-hole course was designed by European Golf Design (Ross McMurray) of European Golf Design (Ross McMurray), known for their work on significant European layouts. Situated within a historic parkland estate in Norfolk, England, the course presents a blend of open areas, mature woodland, and undulating terrain. While the club boasts a rich history stretching back over 125 years at its previous Hellesdon location, the modern layout at Weston Longville offers a contemporary golfing experience set against a picturesque backdrop. The design incorporates varied features, including strategically placed bunkers and greens with challenging run-off areas, providing a test of skill without being overly punishing for the average golfer.
