Northwood Golf Club, situated in England, has a rich history dating back to its founding on 25 April 1891 as a nine-hole course. The club purchased the freehold of the land in 1920 and expanded to eighteen holes. The course is set within a heavily wooded estate with a meandering stream influencing play on several holes. Traditional features such as hawthorn bushes, gorse, and heather are integral to the course's character and strategy. Over the years, the course has seen significant developments, including the upgrading of all greens to USGA standards and bunker reconstruction. While the club has a long history, it is not widely recognized as a top 100 course in the UK and there is no information to suggest it has been a regular Open Qualifying location.
