Maidenhead Golf Club

Maidenhead Golf Club, established in 1896, is a mature parkland course located in Berkshire, England. The initial layout was overseen by professional Alex Simpson, with significant advice provided in 1908 by five-time Open champion John Henry Taylor, who suggested increasing the length and adding bunkers. The course, playing to a par of 70 and measuring 6,338 yards from the championship tees, features tree-lined fairways and greens often noted for their quality. While offering a pleasant walk, it provides a test of golf requiring thoughtful course management. The club has a history of hosting golf societies and events. Notably, the club's current site is slated for redevelopment, with a merger with Flackwell Heath Golf Club planned for January 1, 2026.
