Lansdown Golf Club
Parkland Course in Bath, England
Lansdown Golf Club, located just outside of Bath, offers a classic parkland golf experience designed by the renowned architect Harry Colt. Established in 1894 as a 9-hole course, it was expanded to 18 holes in 1906. The course is set on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment, providing expansive views of the surrounding countryside, including glimpses of the Bristol Channel and the Brecon Beacons on a clear day. The layout is generally level, making for easy walking, yet it presents a stimulating challenge for golfers of all levels. Lansdown has previously been a venue for Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship. The club maintains a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
