Bath Golf Club
Parkland Course in Bath, England
Perched above the historic city of Bath, Bath Golf Club offers a challenging round with expansive views. The club traces its origins back to 1880, sharing early history with Kingsdown Golf Club before becoming a separate entity. Originally a 9-hole course, it was extended to 18 holes by 1883 with advice from Tom Dunn. The course layout was significantly redesigned in 1937 by the renowned architect Harry Colt, with this routing largely remaining today. James Braid also made recommendations for improvements in 1913. The course is set on hilltop downland turf, providing good drainage and year-round playability. While not among the longest courses by modern standards, its natural contours and design present a good test of golf.
