Lancaster Golf Club, nestled in the grounds of the historic Ashton Hall in Lancashire, offers a compelling parkland golf experience. Established at this location in 1933, the course is a design by the prolific James Braid. Playing across gently undulating terrain beside the Lune Estuary, golfers can enjoy attractive views of the surrounding Lakeland Hills and Trough of Bowland. The 18-hole layout presents a fair test, featuring two loops of nine that navigate through the parkland landscape. While not an Open Championship qualifying venue, the club has a history of hosting significant county events, including the Lancashire County Championship.
