Nestled in the rolling Leicestershire countryside overlooking the Avon Valley, Kilworth Springs Golf Club offers a modern golfing experience shaped from former farmland. Established in 1993 and designed by Ray Baldwin, the course has matured to present a varied challenge. The outward nine features a more open, links-style feel with wide fairways and undulating greens. The inward nine introduces a series of lakes and water hazards that demand accuracy and strategic play, particularly on holes like the 9th with its guarding lake, and the demanding finishes at the 12th and 18th which require carries over water. The greens are built to USGA construction standards, providing good putting surfaces year-round thanks to the course's naturally free-draining sand and shale base. While not a traditional championship venue with a long history of hosting major professional events, Kilworth Springs is a popular club in the region, offering a good test of golf for players of all abilities.
