Established in 1989 and designed by Hawtree and Sons, the course provides a fair challenge across its 18 holes, which are set within 63 acres. The course features tree-lined fairways, natural water hazards, and bunkers. While it was reported to have closed temporarily in 2017 for housing development, recent information suggests it is operational, although some sources indicate it is permanently closed. There is no indication that Hurdwick Golf Club has ever been an Open Qualifying location.
