Hickleton Golf Club, nestled in the South Yorkshire countryside in England, offers a parkland golf experience with a history dating back to 1909 when it was established as a 9-hole course. The current 18-hole layout, which opened in 1976, was designed by Ryder Cup players Neil Coles and Brian Huggett. The course is known for its undulating terrain, tree-lined fairways, and strategic bunkering, providing a balanced challenge for golfers. A notable feature is the stream and lake that come into play on the first, second, and tenth holes. While not a widely recognized top 100 course in the UK, it is considered one of the more challenging courses in the South Yorkshire region. The club has previously hosted qualifying events for the Sheffield Union of Golf Clubs championships.
