Hazel Grove Golf Club ( - Summer)

Nestled in Cheshire with picturesque views towards Manchester and the surrounding plains, Hazel Grove Golf Club offers a classic parkland golf experience. Founded in 1913, the club's history includes a period where a portion of the original Alister MacKenzie design was altered in 1990 due to planned road development, with architect Tom Macaulay laying out nine new holes. However, the road plans were later abandoned. Despite these changes, the course presents a good test of golf with tree-lined fairways and a number of water hazards, including a prominent pond on the signature 15th hole. The club is known for its USGA specification greens which contribute to year-round playability. While not a frequent Open Qualifying venue, Hazel Grove Golf Club has previously hosted Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship.
