Haywards Heath Golf Club, located in West Sussex, England, offers a traditional parkland golf experience. The club was founded in 1922, with a nine-hole course initially laid out with the assistance of Major I.G.H. Stenborough. James Braid, a five-time Open Champion and renowned architect, was brought in to advise on the extension to 18 holes, which officially opened in 1924. The course is set on the edge of town and is known for its tree-lined fairways and small greens, demanding accuracy and judgement. The layout, which has seen changes over the years with design advice from figures like Tom Mackenzie of Mackenzie & Ebert (Martin Ebert), measures over 6,100 yards with a par of 71. While not a regular Open Qualifying venue, the club has had amateurs participate in regional qualifying events.
