Ham Manor Golf Club (Manor Course)

Ham Manor Golf Club, situated in West Sussex, England, occupies land with a history dating back to the 11th century, with the current manor house, which serves as the clubhouse, built in the 1830s and converted in 1936. The course itself was designed by the prolific architect Harry Colt and was officially opened in April 1937 with an exhibition match featuring notable professionals of the era, including Henry Cotton. Colt's design philosophy is evident in the course's layout, which seeks to utilise the natural contours of the land and provide a test that requires a variety of shots. While not typically featured in rankings of the very top courses in the UK, it is recognised as a solid example of Colt's work. Ham Manor has previously been a venue for Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship.
