Thonock Park (Karsten Lakes)
Parkland Course in Gainsborough, England
Situated in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside, Thonock Park is home to two 18-hole courses, one of which is the Karsten Lakes course. Designed by Neil Coles and opened in 1997, the Karsten Lakes course is aptly named, with several water features coming into play, most notably on the par-4 6th and the par-3 17th. The course features strategically placed bunkers and is set in gently undulating parkland terrain. Thonock Park was formerly known as Gainsborough Golf Club and the site has a history of golf dating back to 1894.
