Finchley Golf Club, located in North London, England, is a parkland course with a rich history dating back to 1929. Designed by five-time Open Champion James Braid, the course is set within the grounds of a Victorian mansion, Nether Court, which now serves as the clubhouse. The course is known for its gently undulating layout, mature woodlands, and strategically placed water hazards. It offers a balanced test for golfers of all abilities, with challenging holes complemented by some driveable par-4s. Notable holes include the uphill par-3 12th, played towards the clubhouse, and the par-5 13th, with a downhill drive towards a green framed by a 19th-century viaduct. The closing hole is a long par-4 that crosses a hidden brook. While not a perennial Open Qualifying venue, Finchley Golf Club has seen players successfully progress from its grounds through regional qualifying for The Open.
