Farnham Golf Club (The Sands Course)

Nestled in the picturesque Surrey countryside, Farnham Golf Club, affectionately known as 'The Sands', boasts a rich history dating back to 1896. The course presents a compelling blend of parkland and heathland characteristics, shaped by its underlying sandy geology and framed by mature woodlands. Open champion Jack White contributed to the layout during its extension to eighteen holes in 1904. The club has witnessed visits from legendary figures of the game in exhibition matches over the years. While not an Open Championship qualifying venue, Farnham Golf Club is recognised as an England Golf Championship Venue and regularly hosts significant county-level competitions, including the finals of the Surrey Junior Masters and events forming part of the Men's Order of Merit.
