About Eskdale Golf Course
Eskdale Golf Course, nestled in the scenic Cumbria countryside in England, offers a tranquil parkland golf experience. The course, originally conceived as a private six-hole layout, was expanded to eighteen holes with the assistance of three-time Open Champion Henry Cotton. While not an Open Qualifying location itself, other courses in Cumbria have held this distinction. The design, completed by John Goodwin, aims to provide an enjoyable challenge for golfers of various abilities. The signature hole, the 14th, is a memorable par 3 played to a green fronted by a trout pond, demanding precision. The course is known for its relaxed atmosphere and stunning views of the surrounding fells.
