Chorley Golf Club, situated in Lancashire, England, traces its origins back to 1897 with an initial nine-hole layout. After a period at a different location, the club returned to its original home at Hall o'th' Hill, where a new 18-hole course, designed by J. A. (Jack) Steer, was officially opened in 1926. Set across rolling moorland, the course offers a traditional test of golf with some challenging holes and provides expansive views of the surrounding countryside, including glimpses towards the South Lakes and North Wales on a clear day. While not a regular Open Championship qualifying venue, players from Chorley Golf Club have featured in Regional Qualifying events. The layout features two loops returning to the clubhouse, prompting ongoing debate among members about the preferred direction of play.
