Bulwell Forest Golf Club, situated in Nottingham, England, boasts a history that traces back to 1889 when it was established as Notts Golf Club. Initially a six-hole layout, it expanded to 18 holes by 1894. The club was reformed as Bulwell Forest Golf Club in 1902 when Notts Golf Club relocated. Notable figures in golf history, such as five-time Open Champion John Henry Taylor and Harry Vardon, played the course in its early years. Tom Williamson, a celebrated professional and architect, was also associated with the club for many years and influenced the course design. The course itself is set on undulating heathland and features a mix of tight fairways, mature trees, and gorse, providing a test of accuracy. It is an 18-hole, par 68 course known for being a good winter playing option. While the club hosts amateur open competitions, it has not been a venue for Open Championship Qualifying.
