Brocton Hall Golf Club
Parkland Course in Stafford, England
Brocton Hall Golf Club, established in 1894 and relocating to its present parkland setting on the edge of Cannock Chase in 1923, offers a golf experience rooted in history. The 18-hole course was designed by the legendary Harry Vardon and officially opened with an exhibition match featuring Vardon himself. Over the decades, the course has seen minimal alterations to Vardon's original layout, preserving its classic character. The design is notably well-bunkered, placing a premium on accuracy rather than pure length. Water features were enhanced in the early 1990s, adding further challenge and aesthetic appeal to the mature parkland landscape.
