Nestled on the border of Cheshire and Staffordshire, Alsager Golf & Country Club presents a parkland course with a history dating back to 1976 when it was originally opened. Designed with significant input from Ron Rimmer, the then Pro/Greenkeeper at Crewe Golf Club, the course initially played to a par of 72 before alterations reshaped it to the current par of 70. The terrain is undulating and tree-lined, demanding accuracy off the tee. On a clear day, the course offers expansive views across up to six surrounding counties from its higher points, notably near the 13th green. Having transitioned to a members-owned club, Alsager maintains a welcoming atmosphere for visitors throughout the week. The club has not hosted Open Championship Qualifying events.
