Barlaston Golf Club

Barlaston Golf Club, situated in Staffordshire, England, is a parkland course that meanders alongside the River Trent. Designed by Peter Alliss and opened in 1977, the course is not exceptionally long but places a premium on strategic play and good course management. The layout presents a fair challenge to golfers of varying abilities with its rolling terrain, mature trees, water features, and strategically positioned bunkers. While it may not be a championship venue, Barlaston is regarded by some as a local "hidden gem" and provides an enjoyable test of golf in a pleasant setting. The club has a history of hosting regional tournaments, such as the Staffordshire Classic.
