About Padeswood & Buckley Golf Club (18 Hole Course)
Nestled in the picturesque Clwydian countryside of Wales, Padeswood & Buckley Golf Club traces its origins back to the enterprising vision of Arthur Joseph, who laid out the initial nine holes in 1932, with the club officially established in 1933. The course evolved to its current 18-hole configuration by 1971, incorporating land from the adjacent Caia Farm. Hints of the area's industrial past can still be found around the property. The parkland course is known for its tree-lined fairways and features water hazards prominently on eleven holes, courtesy of the River Alyn and various streams and ponds. While accuracy is key, particularly on the front nine, the relatively flat terrain makes for an easy walk. The club hosts various open competitions but has not been a venue for Open Championship Qualifying.
