Northop Golf Club
Parkland Course in Mold, Wales
Nestled in the scenic North Wales countryside, Northop Golf Club offers a parkland test designed by former Ryder Cup player John Jacobs. Established in 1993 and opening for play in 1994, the course quickly gained recognition, hosting the Welsh PGA National Championships shortly after its inception. Notably, Northop was also the first club in Wales to host a European Challenge Tour event in 2003. Spread across over 250 acres, the layout features USPGA specification greens designed to be playable year-round, and a variety of teeing options to accommodate golfers of different abilities. The course presents a classic parkland challenge with strategically placed hazards and mature trees influencing play, providing an enjoyable round in a pleasant setting.
