Stromness Golf Club, established in 1890 in Stromness, Scotland, is an 18-hole parkland course with seaside and moorland characteristics. The course, designed by B Corsie, measures around 4800 yards and is known for being a challenging layout despite its length, featuring seven par 3s and no par 5s for men. It offers stunning panoramic views of the town, the islands of Hoy and Graemsay, and Scapa Flow. Visitors are welcome and can generally turn up and play, except during larger competitions. Facilities include a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant, changing rooms, pro shop, practice area, putting green, and rentals for clubs, trolleys, and electro-carts. The club also hosts functions and offers various membership options, including overseas membership.
