Newtonmore Golf Club

Newtonmore Golf Club, situated in the Scottish Highlands within the Cairngorms National Park, is an 18-hole parkland course known for its spectacular scenery, bordered by the River Spey and offering panoramic views of the Grampian and Monadliadh Mountains. Established in 1893 with a design influenced by Old Tom Morris, Tom Turnbull, and James Braid, the par 70 course spans 6031 yards and features a layout with frequent changes in wind direction and narrow fairways, providing a good challenge for golfers of all abilities. The easy-walking course is noted for its array of wildflowers and birdlife. Newtonmore Golf Club is also unique for its high percentage of left-handed members, linked to the local sport of shinty. The club hosts various open competitions, including a popular Golf Week, and extends a warm welcome to visitors daily.
