Lundin Golf Club

Lundin Golf Club is a traditional links course located in Lundin Links, Fife, Scotland, on the stunning coastline of the Firth of Forth. Founded in 1868, the current 18-hole layout was extensively redesigned by five-time Open Champion James Braid in 1909, incorporating some of the original holes laid out by Tom Morris. Situated just a short drive from St. Andrews, the course is known for its challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. It features undulating fairways, strategically placed bunkers, open burns, an internal out of bounds along the old railway line, and can be affected by winds from the Firth of Forth. Lundin has historically hosted Open Championship Qualifying when the event is held at St Andrews and is home to the annual East of Scotland Amateur Championship. The course requires strategic positioning from the tee rather than just distance. The clubhouse offers views of the 1st and 18th holes and the coastline, providing a warm welcome and serving food and drinks. Visitors are welcome and advance booking is essential, although a handicap certificate is not strictly required, golfers should be able to play to a reasonable standard. The club has an open and inclusive policy for visitors.
