Hopeman Golf Club

Hopeman Golf Club is a traditional Scottish links course located on the Moray Coast overlooking the Moray Firth. Established in 1909 as a nine-hole course designed by Charles Neaves, it was expanded to 18 holes in 1985 with additional design work by J. N. Alister MacKenzie. The 18-hole course is a par 68 (from the White/Yellow tees) playing to a total yardage of 5624 from the white tees. Although not long, the course is challenging, with fairways often guarded by gorse and broom requiring accurate shots. Its signature hole, known as "The Prieshach," is the par 3 12th, playing dramatically downhill to a green in Clashach Cove. The club offers facilities including a pro shop, putting green, changing rooms with showers, catering, and hire of buggies and trolleys. Visitors are welcomed, with booking recommended on weekends.
