Greenock Golf Club (Big Course)
Parkland-Moorland Course in Greenock, Scotland
Greenock Golf Club, founded in 1890 and redesigned by James Braid in 1924, is situated in Scotland high above the town, providing spectacular views of the River Clyde, Ben Lomond, and The Trossachs. It is Inverclyde's only 27-hole golf club, featuring an 18-hole 'Big Course' and a 9-hole 'Wee Course', with the current layouts completed in 1927. The 18-hole course is a challenging Parkland-Moorland design with tight, tree-lined fairways and small, undulating greens, suitable for golfers of all abilities. Visitors are welcome daily. The club provides various facilities including changing rooms, lockers, a pro shop, a restaurant, bar, putting green, practice area, and rentals for trolleys and buggies. Club fitting and golf lessons are also available.
