Gatehouse Golf Club is a charming 9-hole parkland course located in Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Established in 1921 and designed by Tom Fernie, the course is known for its imaginative layout and excellent condition, ensuring it can be played year-round. It offers stunning views of Wigtown Bay, the Clints of Drummore, and the massif of Cairnsmore of Fleet. The course provides a good test for golfers of all levels with its undulating fairways and strategically placed bunkers. A notable feature is the 9th hole, a par 3 recognized as one of Britain's 100 Extraordinary Golf Holes, requiring a precise shot over gorse from an elevated tee with a view towards the Irish Sea.
