Forfar Golf Club is located in Forfar, Angus, Scotland. Established in 1871, it is home to the world's first 18-hole course designed from inception, laid out by Old Tom Morris. The course, which underwent alterations by James Braid in 1926, is a heathland/parkland blend with undulating, tree-lined fairways and well-maintained greens. It is an 18-hole course with a par of 69 and a length of around 6000-6095 yards from the white tees. Facilities at the club include a pro shop, restaurant, bar, changing rooms, lockers, practice area, putting green, chipping area, and rentals for golf clubs, trolleys, and buggies. The course is open to visitors, though advance booking is recommended, and it has hosted national championships, including the Scottish PGA Championship.
