Askernish Golf Club

Askernish Golf Club is a unique 18-hole links course located on the Isle of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Originally designed by Old Tom Morris in 1891, the course fell into disrepair but was restored and reopened in 2008. It is known for its natural setting within the 'machair' dunes, challenging layout, and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The course is maintained without artificial irrigation, fertilisers, or pesticides, with livestock grazing on the course during winter. Facilities include a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant, a pro shop, putting green, driving range, and changing rooms. Club and trolley hire are available. Visitors are welcome.
