Omagh Golf Club

Omagh Golf Club, founded in 1910 and redesigned by Don Patterson in 1983, is an 18-hole parkland course located on the River Drumragh in Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The course, which has nine holes on either side of the main Dublin Road, offers a good test for both low and high handicap players. Feature holes include the eighth, a 377m (or 416m depending on source) dogleg par 4, and the eleventh, a 380m par 4, which follows the River Drumragh. Extensive drainage work allows for play virtually all year round, ensuring good fairway conditions and excellent putting surfaces. The club is known for being friendly and welcoming to members, visitors, and guests, with a charming clubhouse and knowledgeable members. Facilities include a pro shop, putting green, chipping green, practice bunkers, practice ground, sheltered teaching bays, indoor facilities with video analysis, golf buggies, trolleys, lockers, showers, and a restaurant on site. The course has a par of 71 and a length of 6165 yards from the green tees or 5638m/6191 yards from the championship tees. Guest policy is open, with bookings required in advance and subject to availability.
