Massereene Golf Club (18-hole course)
Parkland Course in Antrim, Northern Ireland
Established in 1895, Massereene Golf Club began its life as a nine-hole layout before Fred Hawtree was commissioned in the early 1960s to create the eighteen-hole course that opened in 1964. Situated on the tranquil shores of Lough Neagh, the course presents a engaging mix of parkland challenges, with the inward nine adopting a more links-like feel thanks to its sandy subsoil. Accuracy is often rewarded over raw power on this course, which features tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkering, and subtly contoured greens. The club has a history of hosting significant events, including co-hosting the ISPS Handa World Invitational in both 2019 and 2021.
