Kilkeel Golf Club, located at the foot of the Mourne Mountains in County Down, Northern Ireland, is an 18-hole parkland course with a history spanning over 80 years. The championship course, designed by Eddie Hackett and Lord Justice Babington, opened in 1993 and plays to a par of 72, measuring 6,579 or 6,615 yards from the medal tees. Situated on 120 acres of the original Kilmorey Estate, the course features undulating fairways, large bunkers, and fast greens, offering a challenge for golfers of all abilities with stunning views of the mountains and Carlingford Lough. Kilkeel has hosted notable tournaments, including the British Amateur Championship and the Senior British Open qualifiers. Facilities at the club include a driving range, putting green, chipping area, pro shop, club hire, buggy and trolley rental, and golf lessons with a PGA Professional. The clubhouse, built in 2000, provides a restaurant and bar with views of the course, as well as changing rooms and lockers. The dress code in the clubhouse is neat and casual, with some restrictions. The club offers various membership options.
