Carrickfergus Golf Club, founded in 1926 with the course opening in 1927, is an 18-hole parkland course located on the shoreline of Belfast Lough in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. The par-68 course offers a pleasant layout with a mix of challenging and golfer-friendly holes, featuring imaginative use of water and sand that emphasizes the need for straight driving and effective course management. Local architect David Jones has redesigned several holes, incorporating subtle greens built to USGA standards and various water features. The club provides facilities including a pro shop, putting green, restaurant, club hire, trolley and motorized cart hire, golf lessons, lockers, and changing rooms. Club membership is available, and the guest policy is open with no handicap or certificate requirements. Lodging is not available on site.
