Lisheen Springs Golf Club

Nestled southwest of Dublin, Lisheen Springs Golf Club, formerly known as South County Golf Club, offers a compelling parkland test designed by Nick Bielenberg. Opened in 2002, the course is set across undulating terrain in the gently sloping valley of the Lisheen River, which influences several holes. Bielenberg's design progressively challenges players, building to a demanding finish where strategic play is paramount. The course was recognized in Golf Digest Ireland's Top 100 courses in 2009 and has hosted various provincial and national events. Known for its well-maintained USGA-spec greens and effective drainage, Lisheen Springs provides enjoyable golf throughout the year. Water features and strategically placed bunkers require thoughtful shot-making, particularly on the inward nine. The course stretches over 7,000 yards from the back tees, offering a stern examination while maintaining playability for golfers of varying abilities.
