Lahinch Golf Club, established in 1892, is a renowned links course on the coast of County Clare, Ireland. Often referred to as the 'St Andrews of Ireland,' its Old Course is a product of legendary architects including Old Tom Morris, Alister MacKenzie, Charles 'Mo' Gibson, and Martin Hawtree, each leaving their mark on the natural, rugged dune landscape. The course is famous for its unique and challenging holes such as the blind par-3 fifth, 'Dell,' and the par-5 fourth, 'Klondyke,' featuring a dramatic blind second shot over a hill. The layout winds through impressive dunes and valleys, offering a classic links experience shaped by the Atlantic winds. Lahinch's Old Course has hosted numerous prestigious events, including the South of Ireland Amateur Championship since 1895, and notably hosted the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in 2019, which was part of The Open Qualifying Series.
