Lahinch Golf Club is home to two links courses, the Old Course and the Castle Course. The Castle Course, designed by John D. Harris and opened in 1975, is an 18-hole links course with a par of 70 and a length of 5,596 yards. It is considered less challenging and shorter than the Old Course, making it ideal for those new to links golf or as a warm-up. The course features cleverly positioned bunkers and water hazards and offers views of Dough Castle, the River Inagh, and tidal plains. Lahinch Golf Club is located in Lahinch, County Clare, Ireland, a seaside village on the Atlantic coast. Facilities at the club include a pro shop, restaurant, bar, changing rooms, lockers, golf academy with short game area and indoor performance centre, putting green, and club fitting. Caddies, pull carts, and motor carts are available, though motor carts on the Old Course are generally only for those with medical reasons. The club welcomes visitors and offers golf lessons and club rentals. While there isn't a full driving range, there is a pitching area and nets. Lahinch Golf Club has hosted significant events like the Irish Open.
