The Wiltshire Golf & Country Club (Lakes Course)

Nestled in the undulating Wiltshire countryside, The Wiltshire Hotel, Golf and Leisure Resort is home to the Lakes Course, an 18-hole layout originally conceived by Peter Alliss in 1991 and updated by Howard Swan in 2006. As the name suggests, water is a prominent feature here, influencing play on numerous holes. The course, playing to a par of 72, demands accuracy, particularly into the USGA-standard greens which are known for their challenging contours and speed. The Lakes Course has matured nicely over the years, offering a test for golfers of varying abilities. It was also the host venue for the English Golf Union's Champion Club championship in 2008.
