Teign Valley Golf Club

Nestled on the eastern edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Teign Valley Golf Club offers a parkland layout known for its fast-draining characteristics and year-round playability. Opened in 1995, the course is set in a picturesque landscape alongside the River Teign, featuring natural elements like ponds, streams, and mature trees that contribute to a varied and interesting test of golf. The club has a history of hosting notable competitions, including the Devon County Championship in 2008. While the course has traditionally been an 18-hole layout, there are current proposals to reconfigure it to a 12-hole course, designed by Tom Mackenzie, as part of a larger plan to enhance sustainability and broaden appeal. The club was sold to a local family in 2008 and is now owned by 360 Sycamore Ltd.
