Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club, established in 1894, is a historic parkland course in Warwickshire, England. Originally a 9-hole course in Wilmcote, it moved to its current Tiddington Road location in 1925. The present 18-hole layout was designed by renowned architects John Henry Taylor, a five-time Open Champion, and F.G. Hawtree, opening in 1928. Samuel Ryder, the founder of the Ryder Cup, was significantly involved with the club, serving as Vice President and Captain. The course itself is a par 72, measuring 6261 yards from the white tees. It features a mix of holes, including challenging par 3s and several par 5s on the back nine. The course is known for its well-maintained greens and incorporates strategic bunkering and water hazards within its parkland setting. While not an Open Championship Qualifying venue, the club has a rich history and ties to prominent figures in golf.
