Southern Valley Golf Club

Southern Valley Golf Club, established in 1999, occupies a site with a compelling history, having previously served as Gravesend Airport and playing a role during World War II. Located in Shorne, Kent, the course was designed by Weller & Richardson, laid out in a style that draws inspiration from traditional links, featuring undulating fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Large greens and tees are a characteristic feature, and the predominantly chalk subsoil ensures good drainage, allowing for year-round play without temporary greens. The course offers views of the Thames Estuary.
